Larry Coryell - guitar, piano

By the late 1970's. and into the 1980's, Larry Coryell was touring the world doing solo acoustic sets to appreciative audiences.  One man and his guitar, playing melodies, soloing and showcasing his virtuosity and dexterity behind an instrument.
Usually there were many tributes to the jazz greats of yesteryear, mixed with whatever newer releases Coryell had delivered at that time.
In 1981, he was still in the midst of his acoustic classical phase, before his touring and recording dates with violinist Michał Urbaniak.
During this period, Coryell was still making electric fusion guest spots as a special guest around the world.
